How To Review An Ad

Here is the presentation I gave to Georgetown MBA's tonight. I think it went over well. I thought it would upload the PowerPoint notes automatically but it seems that it didn't so I'm going to work on getting the speaking points/details on there. Either way, it was a great experience and hopefully the attendees learned something new. Writing this thing from scratch over the last couple weeks was really enjoyable, and I know it could be better so any feedback you all have is more than welcome. Good luck to all the grad students going to Houston this weekend, and once again please let me know if you have any questions, thoughts, or requests.

Great presentation. I just went through all 80 slides and I commend you on keeping me interested throughout. I am sure your readers would love to see your notes as I am sure they added another layer of humor to the entire presentation. I would love to have you guest post this over at Marketing.fm as I am sure there are a lot of people who could benefit from it. Any way to embed the youtube videos actually INTO slideshare?

Did they offer you a full time position teaching yet?:)

Great presentation dude. I'm going to steal your "breaks" idea. Will share the VCU Adcenter presentation with you. However, the slides I'm putting together hardly have any words on them so it might not make sense.

thanks eric - go for it on marketing.fm. asked both questions and so far no - no way to get notes uploaded into slideshare or youtube videos into it (or ppt to my knowledge). if you download the pres, you'll see my talking points. also, i realize i should have given credit to a few people on my slides (i shout them out in the notes): magnus blair for the likeability slides and comm tools slide and the adverts slide chart comes from gareth kay's blog (he got it from john lowery and that's all i know).

next time i'll make sure to get those on the actual slides before uploading.

thanks mike - though you could always break out the running man or crank that between each section. i know your affinity for the art of dance. i almost gave each agency member there own dance (which would best represent them) but settled on ipod for all when i realized i should be doing deutsch work.

Yeah. I second what all'y'all had to say. Would have liked to see this before I got into the biz.
